Touch India Trust
Touch India Trust is a Delhi based charity that works towards the holistic development of young people by offering them training programmes and mentorships. It started the Shiksha Rath academy in Delhi’s Outram Lines slum, where most inhabitants are impoverished families displaced from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. The academy is providing high quality free tuition to kids of the slum community.
It also launched social enterprise The Tent to help fund the academy. GREEN SHOOTS has partnered up with Touch India Trust in order to leverage the impact of their operations within the context of our Education Loans and Social Enterpreneurship (“ELSE”) programme.
